Ancora sul tema dei programmi portatili….

Mi è capitato di recente di essere costretto a rasare al suolo il mio PC, ormai impastato da DLL varie e residui di vecchie installazioni che imperversavano nel cuore del mio computer.
La navigazione ne risentiva e così pure le performances del PC che accusava lentezze variie e sopratutto frequenti stop di attività, entrando troppo spesso in modalità “freeze”.
E devo aggiungere che non ho mai trascurato l’aspetto antivirus ne quello firewall, essendo da tempo dotato di due tra i migliori freeware a disposizione sul mercato: Comodo come firewall http://personalfirewall.comodo.com/ e Avira come antivirus: http://www.free-av.com/
Il problema di fondo, ripeto, secondo la mia opinione sta nella facilità con cui spesso si installano e si disintallano software dal PC.
Ecco allora che riformattata la macchina, ho deciso di provare a seguire una nuova strada, utilizzando solo e soltanto software portatili, quelli per capirci che hanno solamente l’eseguibile e che pertanto non necessitano di installazione nel PC.
Ho scoperto con piacere un nuovo mondo che ha saputo svilupparsi fortemente negli ultimi anni.
Ormai tutto o quasi il necessario è presente come portable: da Office a Nero, da Photoshop a Alcohol, da Firefox a Fielzilla e così via.
Il mio suggerimento è di continuare su questa strada ma mi piacerebbe avere qualche riscontro da chi di voi, come me, ama utilizzare il PC non soltanto per scrivere interessanti letterine in Word ma anche per provare e sperimentare l’utilità di nuovi ed aggiornati programmi che possono rendere la nostra vita “informatica” più varia e divertente.
Che ne dite?
Qualcuno ha seguito questa strada dei “software portatili” ma vorrebbe tornare alle classiche installazioni piene?
