News — By PaperGeek on marzo 14, 2010 at 19:57Bill Gates, co-fondatore e presidente per tanti anni di Microsoft, non è più l’uomo più ricco del mondo. È quanto pubblicato da Forbes, che ogni anno rilascia la lista degli uomini più ricchi del pianeta.
Non è la prima volta che Gates perde il “trono”, dato che già nel 2008 venne superato. In questo caso il nuovo numero uno è il messicano Slim Helu, ricco magnate delle telecomunicazioni, che è passato dal terzo posto dell’anno scorso (35 miliardi di dollari) al primo di quest’anno (53.5 miliardi di dollari) e un guadagno di 18.5 miliardi di dollari.
Il che non significa che Gates ha perso guadagni, anzi. Con un utile di 13 miliardi, Bill Gates ha un patrimonio quasi pari a quello di Slim. Gran parte del quale è dovuto all’incremento delle azioni Microsoft del 50% negli ultimi dodici mesi.
