Google contro Apple: anteprima del nuovo tablet Google

A pochi giorni dal lancio dell’iPad di casa Apple a cui sono state fatte numerose critiche da parte degli utenti, la concorrenza non si è fatta attendere, in questo caso parliamo di Google, che a quanto pare sta pensando di creare un tablet con sistema operativo Chrome OS e diventare quindi il rivale dell‘iPad e dell’ HP Slate.
Ovviamente questi sono solo dei rumors anche perchè il sistema operativo Chrome OS non è ancora pronto, ma sul sito “The Chromium Project” sono state inserite delle immagini e un video che mostrerebbero come potrebbe essere il tablet di casa Google. Non sono presenti informazioni ufficiali riguardo la componentistica hardware del tablet anche se il sito ComputerWorld ha tirato fuori varie ipotesi:
- Architettura Nvidia Tegra ARM;
- Display TFT multi-touch da 10,1 pollici (HD ready);
- Hard disk da 64Gb (SSD);
- 2GB di memoria RAM;
- Connessione WiFi,3G, Bluetooth, porta Ethernet, porta USB;
- Webcam, jack audio da 3,5mm, lettore multi-card.
Sono solo dei rumors sulla possibile architettura del Chrome Tablet, quindi siamo ancora molto lontani dal poter dare notizie ufficiali, ma se davvero il tablet di Mountain View avesse queste caratteristiche sarebbe davvero ottimo, capace di dare del filo da torcere alla concorrenza.
