iTunes a quota 10 miliardi di downloads!

iTunes Store si sta avviando a gonfie vele verso il traguardo dei 10 miliardi di canzoni acquistate e scaricate dai suoi utenti in tutto il mondo. Per celebrare l’evento, Apple ha lanciato uno speciale premio intitolato “10 Billion Song Countdown” che permetterà al fortunato downloader del 10 miliardesimo brano di vincere una card del valore di 10.000 dollari da spendere su iTunes Store. L’incremento dei download negli ultimi anni è stato notevole: dalla comparsa del servizio nel web ci sono voluti 4 anni per raggiungere (nel 2007) i 3 miliardi di download e successivamente solo 3 anni per aggiungerne altri 7 miliardi e arrivare alla fatidica soglia dei 10 miliardi di download.
