LG vuole vendere 140 milioni di cellulari nel 2010

Così è stato affermato da Skott Ahn, CEO della divisione mobile di LG. Ciò rappresenterebbe un incremento impressionante rispetto alle vendite del 2009.
Ahn ha poi affermato che il gruppo LG Electronics ha raggiunto una quota di mercato a doppia cifra nel corso del 2009 per la prima volta, nonostante il mercato mondiale abbia registrato una contrazione del 5%.
Lg oggi rappresenta il 3° player a livello mondiale nella vendita dei telefoni mobili, dietro a Nokia Corp. e ai rivali sudcoreani di Samsung.
L’azienda è poi un grandissimo venditore di schermi televisivi flat, posizionandosi al secondo posto dietro a Samsung.
