Milano in 3D: da non perdere!
News — By Max on gennaio 20, 2010 at 21:49Fino a poco tempo fa il pregio di poter essere vistata in versione 3D tramite Internet era ristretto a un numero limitato di città, come New Yotk, Melbourne e Parigi. Finalmente anche Milano appare ora a tre dimensioni: basta andare su Google Earth e fare una passeggiata virtuale nei 51 chilometri quadrati di superficie realizzati in una delle simulazioni tridimensionali architettonico-urbanisitche fra le più imponenti finora realizzate.
Google ha dato notizia di questo nuovo servizio, specificando anche i punti di interesse che sono stati maggiore oggetto di simulazione: oltre al Duomo, non mancano edifici storico culutrali come il Teatro alla Scala, il Castello Sforzesco, l’Arco della Pace e la basilica di Sant’Ambrogio, oltre alla Torre Branca, a via Montenapoleone e a Palazzo Marino. Inoltre, sfruttando le immagini provenienti dai satelliti potrete vedere anche la Stazione Centrale e la chiesa di Santa Maria delle Grazie.
Ma gli edifici più celebri non sono gli unici ad essere stati renderizzati in tre dimensioni: in tutto sono 5.000 gli edifici che godono di questo prestigio, e la società di Mountain View ha fatto sapere che con il passaredel tempo ne verranno aggiunti altri.
Per darvi un assaggio di come appaiono gli edifici meneghini con il sistema 3D di Google Earth abbiamo pubblicato una photogallery con le immagini sia in 2 dimensioni sia 3D, così che possiate capire l’importanza dei miglioramenti visuali che si possono trarre dal nuovo servizio.
Per vedere voi stessi i punti che vi interessano, e verificare quali sono le aree al momento coperte bisogna utilizzare l’applicazione Google Earth 5.0, scaricabile dal sito http://earth.google.it/.
Una finestra di controllo a sinistra dell’interfaccia consente di scegliere i punti di interesse da visitare, e di specificare nella sezione Livelli se la visualizzazione deve essere in 3D, mettendo un segno di spunta in corrispondenza dell’apposita casella. “Navigando” nell’immagine 3D, invece, potete regolare lo zoom, e cambiare l’angolo di osservazione sia sull’asse orizzontale sia su quello verticale.
