In una ricerca effettuata nei confronti dei clienti, Needham & Company’s Charlie Wolf ha previsto che Apple avrebbe venduto due milioni di iPads entro il 2010 (anno fiscale) e altri sei milioni di dispositivi nel 2011, secondo un rapporto su AppleInsider.
La cosa interessante è che Wolf ha affermato che più della metà delle vendite iPad proverranno da iPod Touch. Molti hanno detto che l’iPad sembra una versione più grande di iPod Touch di Apple.
Previsioni Wolf’s certamente non sono al livello più alto di quello che gli analisti prevedono per le vendite iPad.D’altro canto IDC, l’analista Richard Shim di CNET ha detto la settimana scorsa che le stime della società sono di vendere dai 4 ai 5 milioni di iPads quest’anno, raddoppiando così la previsione di Wolf.
Wolf ha detto che sta aspettando di vedere quale sarà il catalizzatore per iPad che sarà in grado di contribuire ad aumentare le vendite di Apple. Come esempi, ha sottolineato l’iTunes Store per l’iPod e l’App Store per l’iPhone.
