Queste stime pero' potrebbero aumentare esponenzialmente con la nuova proposta promossa da Wind. Wind infatti sarà il primo operatore che permetterà ai suoi clienti di collegare il proprio numero di telefono ad un account sul popolare social network. Da oggi, tutti i possessori di una scheda SIM Wind potranno ricevere gratuitamente attraverso un SMS le notifiche di aggiornamento da Facebook ed usufruire delle funzioni più importanti.
Sottolineamo che questa opzione sarà disponibile su tutti i telefoni cellulari, in quanto il sistema non è basato su alcuna connessione internet, ma semplicemente sul servizio di short message service comunemente chiamati SMS. Gli internauti quindi possono leggere e scrivere messaggi in bacheca, iscriversi a gruppi o condividere video e foto con il proprio cellulare, e Wind agevola anche i propri clienti con l'invio di SMS di aggiornamento.
Per iscriversi al nuovo servizio Wind, dovrete inviare un SMS al numero 4132665 con il testo “fb”, al costo del proprio piano tariffario. I clienti Wind possono inoltre personalizzare il servizio selezionando nelle impostazioni personali di Facebook il numero, il tipo e gli orari di notifica gratuita.
