Quante volte abbiamo desiderato trasferire il modo con cui abbiamo risolto un certo problema relativo ad un software, quando abbiamo trovato la modalità per intervenire sui settaggi del nostro browser per renderlo più veloce o siamo riusciti a trovare una serie di passaggi con i quali installare con facilità un programma che sembrava rifiutarsi di entrare nel nostro PC.
Tutto questo spesso risulta difficile o meno comprensivo attraverso la descrizione di tutti i passaggi attraverso un semplice post ed è per questo che intervengono dei tools che permettono con facilità di mostrare attraverso un video tratto dal nostro desktop i passaggi da seguire visivamente, rendendo il processo più comprensibile, immediato e sharabile con chi vogliamo.
Ho scelto per questo quelli che ritengo gli applicativi migliori per raggiungere questo scopo, individuandoli tra quelli gratuiti, ben sapendo che ci sono delle alternative ma a pagamento.

Questo è un software per creare presentazioni e tutorial. E’ estremamente utile per mostrare ad esempio come utilizzare al meglio Word, Excel, Photoshop..
Wink è in grado di catturare screenshots e movimenti del mouse e l’utente può aggiungere dei box per specificare meglio i vari passaggi eseguiti.
Lavora ottimimamente su piattaforma Windows e Linux.
L’utente può poi registrare la propria voce, utilizzare immagini BMP/JPG/PNG/TIFF/GIF. Il software ha supporto multilingue e supporta formati come Macromedia Flash, PDF, PostScript, HTML.
iShowU è un altro tool che permette di catturare audio e video. E’ disegnato per catturare qualsiasi cosa o azione sullo schermo del nostro computer.
Altra caratteristica specifica ed interessante è che non presenta nessun ritardo, delay, dovuto all’encoding e per questo appena la registrazione è terminata il video è già pronto per essere utilizzato.
I settaggi di iShow sono estremamente semplici e anche la posizione del mouse può essere catturata.
Questo tool supprta qualsiasi formato di compressione QuickTime ed è uno dei più semplici in distribuzione su Internet.
Questo Free Software rappresenta la modalità in assoluto più semplice per creare registrazioni da schermo e uploadarle direttamente dal Browser.
Aggiunge poi opzioni per la creazione di titoli, descrizioni testuali, note in determinati punti del video e consente addirittura l’aggiunta di commenti.
E’in Beta Version che utilizza Java e il processo è decisamente semplice.
L’utente deve cliccare su “Create” sul sito web e Screencast-o-Matic inizia così a registrare video e audio e produce un video di 15 minuti.
Editing Video e Preview sono comprese nel software e i file prodotti possono essere caricati su ScreenCast.com, Flickr o sui propri server FTP. A mio giudizio Jing è una delle migliori Screencast Applications.
